My husband and I were traveling with four children ages 8,7,6, and 2 and the value was amazing. I never review anything online but the experience was so good I felt it necessary this time. The fact that there were drinks and popcorn in the lobby the entire time was awesome especially with kids.
Breakfast was awesome and offered SO much more than normal hotels do. Plus the "kickback" at was our dinner each night. I know for some it might not be their ideal dinner if they are on vacation but traveling with the kids we didn't want to have to go out and the "kickback" offered enough options for everyone to have a full meal.

We don't really drink but if you add breakfast, dinner, popcorn as a snack, unlimited soft drinks, and the 3 free "alcoholic beverages" up the value was amazing. The kids loved the pool and hot tub. The rooms were clean and comfortable also. Just a great stay all around. The shower was glass, not a curtain, and was nice for such an inexpensive room. My friends who stayed at the same conference were jealous that I was staying in classier accommodations than they for the same or less!
Desventajas : My room on the first floor had no weather strip on the bottom of the door and suffered a draft. Once plugged with a spare blanket, however, the room was cozy. Also, the electrical cords for the television were rather lazily slung over the TV itself. It looked shabby. Ventajas : The hotel is right at the base of the French Quarter.
If you plan to stay in the Quarter, this is a great option. Desventajas : Noise and parking. During a busy time, self park will be almost impossible. We valeted in order to avoid searching for a space. Ventajas : The location was absolutely perfect: within a few short blocks to all the fun. But the location also provided much needed quiet at night. The facilities were clean and absolutely beautiful. I will absolutely stay here again and will tell everyone about this gem!

I appreciated the historic feel of the room with brick walls. I was skeptical at first about renting a room with no windows, but it exceeded my expectations and wasn't as sketchy as imagined. There were plenty of lamps to substitute the natural lighting. The staff was very friendly. They greeted everyone who passed through the lobby with a smile and were helpful with suggesting local places to eat.
